Machinery Warehouse Warranty and Guarantee. A 1 (one) year “carry in” conditional warranty applies on all goods purchased. The warranty does not apply to defects due to negligence, wear and tear parts, misuse, abuse, accidental damage, modifications, lack of maintenance, improper wiring, unauthorized repairs, damage caused by lightning or power surges, goods used contrary to their instruction manuals, or on batteries. If you are not fully satisfied with the product, the unused product can be returned for a full, no-higgles refund. The following conditions, however, strictly apply:

(a) The product must be in its original packaging.

(b) The product must be returned within 14 days from the date of purchase.

(c) original invoice to accompany the product. Machinery Warehouse reserves the right to charge a “packaging fee” for items not returned in their original packaging. The refunds, returns, exchange, and cancellation policy is in accordance with CPA regulations. If the product is not suitable for the purposes anticipated and indicated to the salesperson, a handling fee will be applicable based on the condition of the product subject to our policy. Warranties on generators will be null and void if not installed by a qualified electrician who must be registered with the Department of Labor and have the required certification in accordance with the law to issue a C0C (Certificate of Compliance) after completion of the installation. A factory warranty of 1 year or 300 hours, whichever may occur first, is applicable to our large generators. 3-month warranty applicable on all repairs.

Please note, parts will not be covered under warranty if not fitted by an Adendorff in-house technician on all Machinery Warehouse products. Parts deemed to be wear and tear will not be covered under the warranty. Terms and Conditions. All prices quoted are payable in ZAR’s and are inclusive of 15% VAT.

Unless a specific limitation is stated, Machinery Warehouse will endeavor to have sufficient advertised stock available to meet anticipated demands. Prices are reviewed on a regular basis and are subject to change without prior notification. Please contact your nearest branch or consult our website. We take great care to ensure that all advertisements are correct. If a mistake occurs or incomplete information is printed, a notice will be displayed in-store with the correct details. Cross-border customers, please note that our warranty applies only to items purchased and used within the Republic of South Africa. Any items exported that are found to be faulty must be returned to Machinery Warehouse at your own cost.

All tools and machinery purchased from Machinery Warehouse are guaranteed to be free of material and/or manufacturer defects. 

This warranty will last for one year. The warranty coverage will end before the period of one year if the product becomes unusable for reasons other than defects due to craftsmanship or materials.

To obtain the benefit of this warranty, deliver the complete product within the one-year period via prepaid transportation or in person to our warehouse. 

Warranted products will be repaired according to the sole discretion of Machinery Warehouse, and these items will be returned free of charge. However, if the product is faulty and beyond repair, you can choose to exchange or receive a full refund of your purchase.

This warranty is not applicable if product failures occur due to:

• Negligence
• Lack of maintenance
• Misuse or abuse of the product
• Normal wear and tear
• Any unauthorized repairs or modifications
• Accidental or consequential damages
• Improper wiring
• Damage caused by lightning or power surges
• Goods used contrary to their instruction manuals

If the product is not what you expected or is not suitable for the anticipated purpose, the product can be returned for a full refund, provided that the following conditions are met:

• The product is undamaged and in its original packaging.
• The product must be returned within 14 days after receiving the product. 
• The original invoice must accompany the product.

In accordance with CPA regulations, we will cover the costs to return the product if one of the following is applicable:

• If you have not had the opportunity to examine or inspect the actual product received before purchase (such as in online purchases),.
• If the wrong product was delivered or does not fulfill the particular or desired purpose that was explained by a salesperson or product description. 

In cases other than those mentioned above, you as the customer are liable for the costs of returning the product. 

Finally, should the original packaging be damaged, a handling/repackaging fee will be charged.
